PM: RM100mil 'seed money' for IM4U volunteer programme
KUALA LUMPUR: A special RM100mil fund will set up to spearhead the 1Malaysia For Youth (IM4U) programme, in a bid to instill a greater spirit of volunteerism amongst the nation's youth, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced Sunday.
He said the fund, named Dana Sukarelawan 1Malaysia (DRe1M), will be managed by a special task force with administration and distribution of allocation done online.
...................
He also said he would personally head an IM4U board of trustees to oversee the smooth running of the youth volunteer programmes.
"...................
He also announced that 2013 will be declared the Year of Volunteerism to further instill the spirit of volunteerism amongst youth.
More than 50,000 youths are participating in a variety of 16 volunteer programmes in Klang Valley and Selangor.

Evidence Act or Clamping Act?
Lynas' waste as harmless as table salt? Really?
In a highly publicized press conference on 3 April 2012, Lynas demonstrated that their WLP waste is lower in radioactivity than table salt [1] [2]. The implication of this experiment is very detrimental to the stop Lynas campaign. One of the main rebuttal against the IAEA review is that its International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) model has underestimated the risk of internal emitters, which are radioactive particles that are ingested or inhaled. If the common salt has higher radioactivity than Lynas' wastes, the entire argument on internal emitters will be void
Oops, slip of tongue, Minister!

Hisham: Photo equipment seized as part of SOP
Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said the confiscation of memory cards and cameras belonging to journalists during the Bersih 3.0 rally were part of the police’s standard operating procedure (SOP).Speaking at the Kuala Lumpur general hospital, Hishammuddin said this when asked why the items were seized since he claimed that the police had nothing to hide.
“I don’t know. This is the standard operating procedure of police…,” he said.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How can the minister contradict himself in one sentence? "I don't know" and "standard operating procedure" should not come in the same sentence.
For example, if you ask a surgeon what is the expensive, risky and painful procedure is to be taken, how much confidence would you have if the surgeon paraphased Hishammuddin and says "I don't know. This is the standard operating procedure of the hospital...."?

Lynas: an injustice most taxing
The graph below shows the spectacular rise in rare earth price since Q3 2010. While gold’s bull run has been getting plenty of attention of late, the real star is rare earth, which has taken off to astronomical heights. For Lynas, the price of the rare earths from Mount Weld may increase 15.7 times from JP Morgan’s estimate by the time the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP) begins production in 2012.

I refer to Kuek Ser Keng’s report entitled “PR becomes Citizens in four hours” which reported that a person with the name of Mismah (NRIC 640704715238) had collected her red RR card, base on status report of NRD online verification system as at 5:48pm 1 August 2011 and 11:30am 2 August 2011.
Shockingly, after 4 hours at 3pm 2 August 2011, the status report revealed that the same person had collected her blue IC – Mykad! She is also registered as a new voter on EC’s voters’ roll. (Later status revised to : sedang diproses, more display of surprising efficiency)

Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia: substance over form
However focusing too much on impressions can lead to substance over form.
The current prime minister has taken a different path from the previous ones in that he is quick to make announcements pertaining to private sector investment decisions, a smart move I would say, to create an impression amongst the more media savvy Malaysians that he is an “investment-generating prime minister”.
-----------------------------------------------------------
By Razak Ahmad
PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Oil giants Exxon Mobil and Royal Dutch Shell Plc (RDSa.L) will invest 15 billion ringgit ($4.9 billion) in new oil, gas and energy assets in Malaysia, the government said on Tuesday, in a move that could help the Southeast Asian country reverse a decline in output.
Pime Minister Najib Razak who announced the projects said the investments were in line with the introduction of tax breaks in November to develop new oil and gas resources and enhance recovery from ageing fields.
The planned investments by the oil companies are part of the Malaysian government's initiative to attract $444 billion in investments by 2020 to drive economic growth.
Of the total, Exxon will spend 10 billion ringgit while Shell Plc will invest 5.1 billion ringgit to upgrade and build energy facilities, the authorities said, although Shell said some of its investments had already been announced.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Meow, you remind me of someone lah.....
In the 1990’s when Malaysian economy was attracting many investors due to our novelty as an investment destination and absence of competitors like China, Vietnam and Cambodia for low cost manufacturing destination, I do not recall Dr Mahathir rushing to the podium and said so and so invested how much for such as such project.
Is there a peri bahasa sounding like “bertelor sebijih riuh sekampung”?
In fact, such stance give me the impression that only one man can generate business opportunities in Malaysia and the business community are not empowered enough to create opportunity and value on their own.
Did you ever see Clinton, Bush or Obama announcing planned investment projects in Silicon value or Sunshine Industrial Park, Arizona ?
While we are in the midst of over exposure to and frankly abuse of 1Malaysia brand, it is worth recalling the much touted, all-encompassing, tear-jerking and hope-giving Wawasan 2020 slogan which Mahathir used to garner support, only later to be replaced by Idris Jala’s “we will be bankrupt by 2019” and Mahathir’s endorsement of Perkasa.
By next decade, I won't be surprise of this 1Malaysia thingy has the same fate as Wawasan 2020 today.
The latest Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia is in substance, as this writer sees it, another branch of the Mydin chain of shops. Replace the 1Malaysia wrappers and change the signboard then it is just another Mydin outlet.
http://www.kedairakyat1malaysia.com.my/en/about-us

It is common for business community to make political donation and as businesses, entrepreneurs would talk about cost benefit analysis – there must be returns – so is there any favours returned? It is reasonable for a MP to request the government to disclose the details of the agreement, if any, signed between Mydin and Malaysia government for Mydin's "national service".
Is there a Plus style compensation arrangement somewhere?
Also, since the public paid for APCO’s creation, the government’s action of lending it to a private entrepreneur for commercial purposes is a bit weird. Imagine I open a fried chicken store and put KFC’s logo on my signboard. Surely I have to account to the trade mark owner?
Scroll further below and the website links clearly shows that this set up is in tandem with gearing up for a snap GE. The introduction of the store in the website also state it's stands very clear.
"About Kedai Rakyat 1Malaysia
‘Kedai Rakyat 1 Malaysia’ is a shop operating on a mini market format, which provides various basic necessities at low prices. This initiative was inspired by our beloved Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak on his concerns for the low income citizens located in the urban areas.
This is also in line with the slogan “Rakyat Didahulukan” which has been mooted by YAB Prime Minister himself."

It is quite common for BN leaders to claim in controlled media that opposition politicalized every issues from death of Teoh Beng Hock, education, scholarship and whatever.
Now it is BN’s turn to politicalize a mere 2,000 square feet kedai runcit? While we are mesmerized by the savings of a ringgit here or there shopping in these outlets, let us not forget the insistence to push through RM5 billion Warisan Merdeka, €114 million (US$151.1 million) commission paid to a company called Perimekar, istana construction cost ballooned from RM400mil to RM800 million…and the list goes on and on….
On a more mundane level, our daily expenses bear the burden of excessive profits of privatised public functions like Plus, the IPPs, Padi Beras Nasional Berhad, Proton, Telekom, Tenaga etc. Read their annual audited accounts and check out their retained profits and dividends, i.e. exrta costs that you and I paid. There is no structural reform.
Another 1Malaysia sandiwara, if you ask me.
Adakah DAP anti-Melayu? Ulasan karyaan Wan Hamidi Hamid

Saya membeli buku ini in MPH Wangsa Maju, harganya RM15 sahaja.

Halaman facebook "Roketkini"
Fitnah # 1: DAP parti komunis?
Hakikatnya,
m.s. 94 “Semenjak pelaksanaan Dasar Ekonomi Baru hingga tahun 1990-an Pulau Pinang telah dibekalkan dengan infrastruktur pembangunan khusus untuk Melayu melalui Yayasan Bumiputera Pulau Pinang, Lembaga Kemajuan Wilayah Pulau Pinang dan Koperasi Gabungan Negeri serta bantuan dana kepada …Dewan Perniagaan Melayu Pualu Pinang….”
m.s. 95 “..UMNO mempunyai lebih 50 tahun untuk membantu menyelesaikan masalah…namun mengikut kajian UMNO Pulau Pinang sendiri pada awal tahun-tahun 2000-an, walaupun ekonomu negeri berkembang, kedudukan orang Melayu dikatakan masih berada di takuk lama…”
Keadaan perniagaan untuk kontraktor-kontraktor Melayu bertambah baik setelah DAP mengambilalih kerajaan negeri Pulau Pinang.
m.s. 97 “…Guan Eng mendedahkan fakta bahawa kontraktor mendapat 100% tender projek Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran, dan 98% projek Jabatan Kerja Raya …. Kontraktor bukan Melayu … hanya mendapat kontrak…2% sahaja…
http://lokesiewfook.blogspot.com/2009/01/bantuan-pendidikan.html

Fitnah # 3 DAP anti-Islam?

Perkasa to spearhead 1Melayu, 1Bumi against the Chinese
Perkasa has announced its spearheading of the “1Melayu, 1Bumi” movement, warning Malays that the Chinese were seeking ultimate political power.
In backing Utusan Malaysia’s call for a movement to “unite” all Malay parties, Perkasa secretary-general Syed Hassan Syed Ali said that Malay rights group did not have the “luxury of time” to wait for Malay political parties to initiate action.
“Perkasa will take on the responsibility of spearheading the “1Melayu, 1Bumi” movement, where it is obvious the Chinese, through the DAP are trying to take over the political power of the Malays.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flaw #1: Chinese are not aftering ultimate political power. Being a minority in Malaysia, there is no chance. Chinese are merely interested in making a comfortable living like dynamic economic conditions, good public amenities, safe environment and good standard of living.
Can Perkasa count properly? How many electoral seats in Malaysia are chinese majority? It is virtually impossible for Chinese to dominate voting pattern in Malaysia.
Why the siege mentality? The following are malays: Bank Negara governor, Ketua Polis Negara, armed forces chiefs, prime and deputy prime ministers, most of the menteri besars, pengerusi Bursa Saham Malaysia, securities commission chairman, director general of income tax, MACC director, speaker of parliament and state assemblies, head of Petronas, chairman of most local banks ..... heck even the president of Malaysia's Institute of Accountants is a malay.
After accusing non-malays for non-existence political conspiracy, and calling non-malays pendatangs, pariahs, sepet, kaki botol and what not, this is the peace sign handed across Najib's 1Malaysia:-
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/malaysia/article/perkasa-tells-non-malays-to-view-it-positively/
Perkasa tells non-Malays to view it positively
ALOR SETAR, April 25 — Perkasa today said the Chinese and Indian communities should view it in a positive light as it was acting in accordance with the law.
The right-wing Malay group added that there was no secret agenda behind its struggle to defend the rights of Malays.
Kedah Perkasa president Syed Osman Mansor said it fought for Malays because “the Malays have become disunited because of politics.”
He said, however, that Perkasa has improved Malay unity as seen in two large gatherings held in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, and Pasir Salak, Perak, this year.
Syed Osman was speaking ahead of Perkasa’s launch of the 1 Bumiputera campaign this Saturday in the northern state, where he expects 30,000 people to show up.
Perkasa had said it would champion Utusan Malaysia’s call for Malay parties and NGOs to form a 1 Melayu, 1 Bumi movement which the Umno-owned newspaper said was in response to growing Chinese political power due to DAP’s racial politics.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Flaw #2:Why is it ok for Perkasa that Malays should be united under 1 political party while it is not ok for Perkasa that Chinese, according to them anyway, to be united under 1 political party?
There is something called double standard.
Perkasa, and the extreme right wingers can only see things from a racist angle. Everything is race, race and race....truly them are the amazing race!
By most accounts, Chinese in Malaysia and accross the world are practical and analytical. When they assess political parties, they do not look at superficial cosmetics but what the parties stand for. They support political parties who can bring upon justice and good governance so that they can make a living, enjoy life and feel secured materially and spiritually.
Chinese do not vote base on blind loyalty to skin colour. Ask MCA and they will confirm that having the same skin tone do not guarantee votes.
If UMNO adopts DAP's philosophy and DAP adopts UMNO's philosophy then I would gamble that chinese would vote for UMNO and not DAP. Whether BN like it or not, I do see it taking a leaf or 2 from the Buku Jingga which they oenly despise.
And as an indication of the level of reasoning capability of the political right wingers, they expect the targets of their threats, taunts, slander and libel to take them in a positive light. You can't expect the person you have bullied and insulted to feel friendly to you, right?
BN, as the administrator for the nation for more than half a century, is responsible for the national policies, institutions and implementation of such policies. They are directly responsible and accountable for the living conditions we tax payers are served with.
Judging by the spate of engineered social tension such as the cow head protest, church fire bombing, rise of the right wingers without checks, crime wave, poor intellect and inability to reason by a significant segment of the population, BN has failed the tax payers in bringing Malaysia to the promised land of harmony, physical as well as mental progress and prosperity depsite being blessed with huge natural resources, diversified and talented population, being in natural-disaster-free region.
It seems that the political front that relies too much and too long on racism to maintain power has nearly run its course. Continuing this colonial style political mentality with make Malaysia a laughing stock of the world and arrest its development significantly. Time to change. Either BN changes its reliance on racism as a political currency, or BN could well be changed.
Home Ministry's battle with youtube and facebook users
http://www.sun2surf.com/article.cfm?id=56772
I do not understand just exactly what the Home Ministry is trying to address. Is it a piece of faulty reporting or the Ministry’s own ambiguity? I do not see why the Ministry seek to renegade against Mahathir’s pledge that Internet will not be subject to interference in Malaysia.
The key sentences are as follows:
# Mahmood said the amendments were not meant to tighten control over the press but to address loopholes in the law and make it more inclusive.
- this gentleman says that there is no intention to tighten control over the press, but does expanding the coverage of a regulation not result in tighter control? If there is no concrete end result/purpose, why waste money, time and energy?
# "It is not about having stricter guidelines. But there is a loophole at the moment, and some things do not fall into any category."
- now closing a loophole means tightening control, what else could it mean?
- It is quiet clear that the ministry via the gentleman is contradicting himself
# "We monitor what is in YouTube and discuss it. We won’t be able to control it, but we have to see how to go about it."
- This gentleman has disclosed his intention – after talking about what he has watched in Youtube, he has admitted that while he badly wants to curb it, but according to Mahathir’s pledge to the world, there is no existing laws in Malaysia to impose censorship Internet ala press suppression 20th century style, he and his team are cracking their heads trying to impose a 20th century philosophy onto an unstoppable 21st century trend.
- reading between the line, this civil servant's statement seems to indicate that the solution in the pipeline is not to censor the Internet but "go about" on the people airing their opinion in cyberspace.
- given the manner in which printing press act has been implemented in Malaysia for decades, I am not 100% confident that the application of any expanded legislation would seem to be fair to both side of the political divide.
# He said although the existing guidelines were only a year old, they had to be modified to ensure they suited the 1Malaysia concept of giving priority to the people’s interest.
- Another irritating, general and incomprehensible string of words so typical of the successive administrators as attaching a well used slogan does not add credibility to a statement of opinion. The attached clarity and apparent logic would prove the weigth, not another round of the over-used rallying call.
- I do not see how slapping gags on communication via Youtube and Facebook can priortise people’s interest under some political sales pitch.
The Singapore diplomats have confirmed that many Malaysians have concluded for a long time anyway – we do not have many competent people running the country.
After reading the article a few times over, I struggle to convince myself not to conclude that:
# This is prove that the existing administration have lost the cyberspace warfare in convincing and winning over public opinion of savvy and thinking internet users
# The partisan administrators hope to replicate the outdated modus operandi of airing one sided arguments in cyberspace
# But the 21st century solution is not to impose censorship or intimidate, but to show actual performance in real world and defeat its detractors in open and sensible debate
# If the gentleman thinks clamping down on facebook exchange is necessary, then they are guilty of voyeurism, intrusion and for consistency sake, they should eavesdrop into all conversations in coffee shops, mamak stalls, taxies and other places where thinking people are articulating, evaluating, criticizing and debating the performance, integrity and achievement (or lack of) of elected people’s representatives and tax payers funded machinery.

Internet should not be censored, says Tun Mahathir
GA_googleFillSlot("News_Story_toptext");
KUALA LUMPUR: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Saturday the Internet should not be censored in any way, and it was wrong to do so although some things needed to be disciplined.
"For example, there is too much violence coming through on the Internet.
“That, I think, we have a right to ban but as far as political thinking, if you are not instigating violence and things like that, I think the Internet should not be censored in any way," he said.
He was speaking to reporters after delivering his speech at the Third Annual Malaysian Student Leaders Summit here.
He said that during his time of administration, he had given the undertaking that the government would not censor the Internet when it started the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) years ago.
"So maybe that was an undertaking given by me during my time. I don't know whether that will commit the present government," he added.
On Friday, Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said the government was looking to put up Internet filter to stop access to undesirable websites. However, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the government had no intention of monitoring and censoring the Internet contents as the move would not only be ineffective but would also cause public dissatisfaction. - Bernama
Reading Malaysia from another perspective
Lo and behold, in 28th December's edition of Today, I found a relevant article.
click the picture to get a larger imageThe article mentioned that mainland Chinese students are eroding the advantage of Singaporean students' superior command of Engish. The article I quoted earlier already mentioned the significant gulf between Singapore Primary 4 English curriculum as compared to form I contents in Malaysia.
What can Malaysia do, faced with such fierce competition?
The article highlighted a significant advantage Singapore has - having a multi-cultural background hence having a more adaptable and flexible mindset.
Actually Malaysia can claim to be more multi-cultural than Singapore, Malaysian Chinese definitely mix with more non-Chinese compared to their Singapore counterparts...and yet our multi-cultural heritage and advantage are being labelled as a threat, an intrusion, an invasion and a robbery. Talk about killing the goose that lay the golden eggs.
One would wonder the motive of such people dealing in currency of communal politics.
For decades, the bumiputera community is given protection and told incessantly that they cannot compete openly and fairly. Well competitiveness, independence and endurance is moulded via throwing people into deep end, rather than via overprotection and constant talking down to.
Just look at what South Koreans do to beef up their boys. How should Malaysia education and social systems teach the population to be tough, mentally as well as physically?
In the same newspaper, Malaysia was mentioned in these 2 reports....which makes me wonder...what would a foreigner think, after reading abou the first 2 articles? Would they like to invest or visit our beloved country? Would they have confidence in basing their employees, assets, families and future in Malaysia?

“Archeologists use certain ‘clues’ on the surface of the ground to search for the remains of the past. These include mounds, depressions or ancient buildings. On land and under the sea, remains of human civilisations were often buried in layers of mud, dirt and over the years, these have become embedded in rocks. Erosion by wind and rain can sometimes uncover ancient objects- pottery, flint, bones, tools or even coins.”
Now contrast this with the English literature component recommended for secondary schools (Form 1) for the forthcoming year.

BN regains two-thirds control of the House
Dangerous to amend Constitution, say analysts
NADIRAH H. RODZI

PETALING JAYA: The chaos on the final day of the 12th Parliament's third session yesterday, which saw the suspension of four Pakatan Rakyat (PR) top guns which resulted in the Barisan Nasional (BN) regaining its two-thirds majority of the House, has sparked mixed response from political analysts.
Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) political analyst Dr Jeniri Amir said the two-thirds majority has serious implications.
"This is an advantage for BN. Although they are capable of bringing positive changes, the move by speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia is seen as not gentle. It will be dangerous if BN chooses to press on with amendments. Personally, I feel Azmin Ali's (PKR — Gombak) suspension is severe. He was just supporting the party's leader, as did other Opposition Members of Parliament (MP)," he said.

The birthplace of Malaysia’s democracy, good old England, has this to state about the role of a Speaker:
---------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------
What happen on that day on infamy, a practice perhaps inspired by the disgraceful Perak power grab, had the malaise extended to the federal level. The administration system that the Brits left behind has been ravaged beyond recognition.
Procedures are disregarded and the rakyat certainly did not give BN a 2/3 majority. The Speaker who was once a minister in the prime minister department gave BN that. I certainly did not pay part of his RM14K a month to turn a civilized administration system upside down.

And this is not the first time the Speaker revealed where his loyalty apparently and truly lies.

Speaker Should Be Impartial - Pandikar Amin
Monday, 23 February 2009
He said that if a person was appointed speaker, "you are the Speaker of that particular Parliament or state assembly, and do not belong to any political party or to benefit a particular party."
A speaker should not be a servant to a certain political party, he said after opening the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) first sub-committee meeting on global financial crisis and its impact here Monday (23 Feb).

Pandikar vows to be fair to all as Speaker
Published on: Friday, April 11, 2008
Kota Kinabalu: Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, the former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, has pledged to be fair to all in discharging his duties if he is chosen as the new Dewan Rakyat Speaker.
Pandikar Amin, who was informed by Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman Datuk Seri Musa Aman on Tuesday that he would be nominated for the post, said there was no denying that the sitting for 12th parliamentary term would be more challenging than previously as the number of opposition members had increased to 82 as against BN's 140, with many new faces among them.
"First and foremost, it's necessary to be fair to both sides, meaning we should listen, and listen well, to the voice of both sides," he said here Thursday.

The BN administration this term has demonstrated time and again, in the case of minority interest, they are not interested at all. What happened in Perak and Sarawak, have been extended to federal level.
From a man in the street perspective, I feel that the Speaker should not be chosen from the elected MPs. It is almost impossible, human nature as it is, not to favour your previous political alignment, whether deliberately or otherwise.
If Manchester United is playing Chelsea in Old Trafford, would anyone mind if the referee is chosen from one of the non-playing Manchester United players or coaching staff?

There is one prominent case of a speaker who is not presiding officer. The New York City Council, the unicameral legislative body for New York City, has as its presiding officer the Public Advocate, a position formerly known as City Council President, who is elected by all the voters of the city. As the public advocate's role has changed with several city charter revisions, a post of Council Speaker was created. The speaker is, effectively, majority leader of the council

If we were to have a totally and truly independent Speaker, by golly, when I look at the quality of grey matter on both side of political divide, Pakatan MPs would clobber the BN MPs in most of the debates. The rakyat will get the money’s worth, the truly qualified MPs would get their ideas through and the nation will benefit as a whole.
This tax payer says, to reform the governance of this country, given the dreadful performance of the 3 Speakers this time round, perhaps we have to consider this drastic step.
Abdul Karim : foot in the mouth?
Abdul Karim: Tak adil halang Taib kumpul kekayaan
The full text of the above article is appended below. I do not know whether Abdul Karim is genuinely clueless or resorting to a desperate defense of his boss.
The opening salvo is already an admission of guilt and a desperate defense. Abdul Karim is not refuting that Taib is amassing wealth, merely saying in his personal opinion, there is nothing wrong if Taib is using his position to accumulate wealth (semasa memegang jawatan).
However, he conveniently or by design, left out any saying about whether the chief minister has or has not made his wealth by way of dictating or influencing the relevant administrative processes such as award of tender and contracts. As tax payers, we are even entitled to question whether Taib is spending our time and money to administer state matters or enriching himself during office hours.
Abdu Karim’s line of reasoning defies both logic and commonsense, let alone worthy of a person holding an important public office.
His wishy-washy statement can’t hold a candle next to the well written, well research disclosure website.

In a democracy, people are elected into office because of integrity and ability plus a willingness to serve. Elected representatives are remunerated by tax collected and owe a fiduciary duty to tax payers and citizen to ensure the wealth of nation is properly managed for benefit of all. He or she is also subject to public scrutiny over his and her personal conduct.
Amassing a fortune while having the administrative power to decide allocation of economic opportunities, and deciding in one’s own favour, is called corruption.
An elected representative with power to rule and regulation must not put himself and herself in a position of conflict of interest. You can't be given power to approve applications while you are in the business yourself. That is basic good governance practice.
If a political secretary of a chief minister cannot get this kindergarten level idea into his thick skull then one wonders his sanity let alone fitness of office. MACC should call him in for questioning. He can well qualify as a suspect with this funny line of reasoning.
If this is not clear enough, Chen Sui Bien of Taiwan, Ferdinand Marcos of the Philippines, our very own Harun Idris were all collecting wealth beyond their official means and ended in jail.
He sounds to me like, “yes, my boss is amassing wealth while he is in office but as long as the ignorant Sarawakians keep voting him in, then the voice of the awaken would be drown by the silence of the ignorant ones.” This is a down right challenge to the citizens of Sarawak. Surely our friends in Sarawak won’t stand for this?
The manner in which YB Ting Tze Hui was ridiculously evicted from the State Assembly was a cowardly and brutal act to suppress the voice of reason and truth. She was accused of making unsubstantiated claims despite quoting a collection of numbers from the Auditor General’s report. If anything, Wong Soon Koh & friends should take the AG to task for supplying YB Ting with a lot of “unsubstantiated claims”.

I think it is time for tax payers to stop all these leakage. The true extend of the leakages will only be known when a separate group of office bearers come in and open up the old books. That would make interesting reading and potential harvest. MACC Act has given the courts a power to recover lost funds and this represent an interesting option for the tax payers to recover what have been lost previously.

Abdul Karim: Tak adil halang Taib kumpul kekayaan

“Cara saya lihat, tiada masalahlah. Apa masalah Sarawak Report?
