What ever the intention is, Make Chinese Anxious, Make Chinese Appreciate, Make Chinese Angry, Manipulate Chinese Awareness and Making Compassionate Appeal etc, Chua Soi Lek has issue his ultimatum to the Malaysian Chinese community.

Sunday May 1, 2011PM: It’s MCA’s message to Chinese voters
KUALA TERENGGANU: MCA has sent a message to the Chinese voters that they cannot support the Opposition and yet hope for a strong representation in the Government, said the Prime Minister.
“If the Chinese voters want to support the Opposition, they will sacrifice parties in the Government.
“If they want to have a more meaningful voice to represent their interest, then they must support the Barisan Nasional component parties,” said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at a press conference after launching the Pulau Duyong public housing project yesterday.
Najib said even though the matter of Cabinet representation would only be decided after the general election, MCA's message was clear.
The MCA presidential council had publicly backed its president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek's call for the party to give up government posts if the Chinese community did not support its candidates in the general election.
On the stand of MCA that it would continue to be in Barisan, the Prime Minister said the party remained in the coalition because it was a fair government.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CSL's message is:
1) despite Najib's constant sales pitch of 1Malaysia here there and everywhere, Malaysians of Chinese descent, contributors of the bulk of income, sales, service and, post GE-13, GST as well as customs and property taxes, will be maltreated and forgotten the moment MCA is booted out by voters despite unfair electoral practices favouring BNas a result of MCA's own unsatisfactory performance.
2) CSL is suggesting that 1Malaysia Prime Minister with his 1Malaysia administration is going to kill the goose that lay the golden egg, hinting that the administration of which his party currently participates in is racist, lunatic, immature and hypocrite as despite acknowledging Malaysian Chinese's contribution in front of visiting Wen Jiabao, will visit revenge and hell fury on citizens that exercise their constitutional democratic rights.

Najib praises Chinese role in economy, nation building
By Asrul Hadi Abdullah Sani
April 28, 2011
KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 — Datuk Seri Najib Razak praised Chinese Malaysians today for their role in the economy and nation-building amid racially-charged rhetoric by some Malay organisations that the community was out to take political power.
The prime minister also stressed that Malaysians from the different communities must work together to ensure further success in the push for a high-income nation. His remarks came at the tail-end of a two-day visit by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
“Thanks to their persistence, determination and sheer hard work… the contribution of the Chinese community to our economy is absolutely crucial to the country as a whole,” Najib (picture) said in a speech to the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCIM).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notice the Star's headline. Najib is saying "Chua Soi Lek said it, not me".
Even Najib is distancing himself from this last roll of dice. Gerakan tried it in 2008, SUPP tried it in 2011 and now MCA is revisiting this approach again.
Theoretically, in a democracy, voters hold the elected responsible for the trust and confidence vested in; but in Malaysia, the elected hold the voters responsible for maintaining feudal and beggar mentality - "pay up, be grateful and shut up!"
As president of MCA, Chua should know how to write the words "民主", i.e. DEMOCRACY. "民" means the people; "主" means the master. Chua, the 2 words mean "People are the Masters". Not "Master of People".
Barisan Nasional generally and Chua Soi Lek specially have to understand that urban voters cast their votes base on livelihood and national issues. Not skin colour.
MCA have not come to terms that they are voted out because they failed their own KPI. It is BN's own doing. Instead of looking and managing the nation on a holistic basis, everything under BN has to be cut up into respective racial boxes to manage separately - with the exception, of course, tax charging and collecting.
As long as issues are clouded by a layer of race perspective to complicate assessment, debate and evaluation, it is alright as long as the tax money keep coming in. Zero sum game has cost MCA dear in an UMNO dominated BN coalition.
BN have to get something into their head. Just because urban voters (note: I do not classify them as "Chinese Voters") voted against you, it does not mean urban voters do not follow your laws, do not pay you taxes and revolt against you.
Chua's timing is impeccable. He threaten and plea for support and gratitude when an independent party like the World Bank Economist Philip Schellekens has this to say:-
“(Lack of) Meritocracy and unequal access to scholarships are significant push factors and a deterrent to coming back,” said Schellekens. “Non-Bumiputeras are over-represented in the brain drain.”
"Expect the trend to continue,” he said."
In a possible scenario where MCA is booted out in the next GE, and UMNO dominated BN still holding onto federal government, how would the Malaysian Chinese fare?
Would BN then close down Chinese schools, practice wide spread and race specific persecution against tax paying and law abiding citizens? Najib have to confirm whether under his 1Malaysia stance, is this an approach that they are considering and planning for now?
Would this be part of the BN's GE manifesto - "Chinese vote BN otherwise item 1), 2) and 3) (or more)" will be forfeited..
If Chua mention this ultimatum and threat to the Chinese community, then he better jolly well include this in BN's GE manifesto - transparency, openness and honesty means a lot to the voters.
Malaysians should swamp Najib's fabled facebook with this question to agitate Rosmah more, unfortunately.

MCA peace plan subject to UMNO's approval
Muhyiddin: PM will have final say on MCA peace plan
By Tim Leonard
KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 30, 2009) : Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak will review and have the final say on the next course of action to solve the leadership crisis in MCA on his return from overseas.
MCA peace plan subject to UMNO approval...in future how do they "fight for Chinese" as they always claim as their primary objective? What is MCA's problem? Greed? Face? Lust? or disagreements in really solving "Chinese" problem?
Also, does this make MCA as much as a puppet of UMNO as Nizar a puppet of DAP as claimed ?
Just after GE, some quarters in MCA claimed that it was UMNO's antics resulted in BN's (actually MCA, MIC and Gerakan) defeat in the polls. Yes, UMNO won and won well in its fight in rural areas. Since the little voices was raised, there were no more keris brandishing in the annual bash.
Since then, we notice how calm Koh Tsu Koon was when his photo was torned apart by some small UMNO local leaders and subsequent kiss and make up between Gerakan and UMNO in Penang.
Now, from unprecedent open air grumble by MCA on UMNO's antics, MCA now meekly accept peace plan to be approved by UMNO? Imagine the following 2 scenario:

Now, from unprecedent open air grumble by MCA on UMNO's antics, MCA now meekly accept peace plan to be approved by UMNO? Imagine the following 2 scenario:
- in 1988, when Mahathir and Razaleigh fought and resulted in de-registration of UMNO, Ling Liong Sik or Samy Vellu stepped in before that happen and order them to accept peace plan formulated by MCA or MIC (gulp)
- in 2009, as PAS's pro-and anti unity fraction bicker and threaten to break up the party, DAP step in and tell them how to stop the bickering, kiss up and make up.
What does MCA stands for?
Normally I am more concern about Malaysia and Malaysians as a whole; rather than about my own race but today, maybe a bit too much of MCA news in the Chinese Press for the past few days, I caught a bug and decided to differ.
The Ong Tee Keat and Chua Soi Lek spat is nothing new. MCA No. 1 and No. 2 have always been like cats and dogs with the exception of Ong Ka Ting and Chan Kong Choy. (but in truth, my sister-in-law’s puppy grew up with her kittens and the beasts have more harmony between them than the Malays and non-Malays in the world according to Awang Selamat)
I just wonder what does MCA stands for, apart from their advertisement that they are always “fighting” for the Chinese. (Strange, since they are always in BN “fighting” for the rights of Chinese, just to flip it a bit, they are “fighting against” UMNO (Malays) and MIC (Indians) for “Chinese” interest so one wonders why the Controlled MSM never highlight about this “in-fighting” within Barisan Nasional coalition as a matter of concern).
I suppose Tan Cheng Lock’s MCA started off wanting to Manage Chinese Affairs. I suppose during the first few years, things were fine but over the years, with a party known for perpetual internal party struggles with Many Confusing Allegations and Many Confrontational Actions being thrown about, I would not be surprised if many Malaysian Chinese feel that their interest is not being served but Merely Cast Away and Marginalized Consistently Anyway while Malays have progressed and still progressing very well in terms of their political rights.
The rallying call for UMNO is “Malay Unity” while MCA hardly exclaim “Chinese Unity”, which, in a way, the currency MCA suppose to be dealing with as BN component party but this has not been applied with diligence and focus. Maybe MCA is too generous and Making Concession Amicably all the time as they are “fighting” for the Chinese rights, whatever that means. Personally I believe in Making Considered Approach in more logical in allocating the resource of the country for social justice and public wellbeing.
During the time when Mahathir Commanded All, MCA Meekly Cruised Along, silent during the judicial crises of 1988, leading us to the Lingam Gate and incredulous rulings passed as we witness the Perak debacle today.
Hence instead of protecting Chinese rights per MCA charter, maybe there is a case that they Merely Causing Agitation to the Chinese or even Made Chinese Angry.
While Utusan Malaysia has Made Condemning Accusations against the non-malays, MCA usually pay no heed as they may understand Utusan is Merely Creating Agitation without really meaning to let it degenerate into Major Conflict Anyway. Malaysia now is no longer in 1969.
Any major riot will destroy the economic pie which Malay has very substantial share and I hope Malays Can Assess this intelligently and rationally. Since Raja Niong claimed that on 1 August, RM200million or whatever were lost in few hours of protested without so much of a window being broken, I shudder to imagine what losses and harm an pre-arranged riot would cause and I hope all sensible Malaysians will not get involved.
The Cow Head Gate in Shah Alam is a case in point. MCA here did protest as much as a graveyard while after the Keris apology, there is More Clumsy Attempt from Hishammuddin to balance out the divide and rule tactics. Despite Most Condemnable Act of insensitivity, rudeness and recklessness, is MCA’s silence a sign of its Meekly Consenting Acceptance of the game? Mind you, should MBSA issues summons to the protestors for vandalizing, littering and spitting in public domain?
Annually, the Chinese top SPM and STPM top scorers cry and bitch about the scholarship hijack but one wonders if there is a case for manufactured crises for the Malaysia Complain Agency to justify its existence and says every year “Maybe Can Appeal”. Making Compassionate Appeals? More logical would be to Make Correct Allocations hence the best of our brains are developed, nurtured and retained to service the country and tax payers, rather than Money Chucked Away to less qualifying candidates.
Mind you, socially re-engineering is 1 thing but having incompetent doctors and leaders is a matter of life and death hence there is no room for Making Callous Appointments in getting the right people to do critical, life and death jobs.
Look at PKFTZ, had the parties involved Made Claims Accordingly then there is no problem but as the Pricewaterhouse report mentioned, some claims were Manipulatively Criminally Abusive, and now we Malaysians were made to pay for this Malignant Cancerous Abomination.
I am confused. The Zakaria and Toy properties were not investigated by MACC. Does that Make Corruption Acceptable? As the Teoh Beng Hock case shows, someone is still pretty against corruption practices but time of writing, we still do not know how much dirty money Teoh died for, was it RM2,400 or RM112?
The witnesses from MACC Mutters Conflicting Allegations like one said there was an argument while the other said no. Many Confusion Arises but one thing for sure, MCA seems more concern about its No.1 and former No. 2 WWF rather than some event that stirred the Chinese community here more than anything else.
After the RM10million can of worms is blown open, the Treasurer claims that MCA has …err.. RM2 billion in assets and that the alleged donation is both negligible and never been received by MCA. Fine, Money Can Accumulate but as a political party designed to assist the community it represents, how come so much money is retained and not distributed? One wonders how MCA can amass so much money also.
At the end of the day, any fight is a good fight if the fighters have noble intentions in their hearts. Whether MCA is fighting for the Chinese only or for the nation, I only hope is May Commonsense Arise and all Malaysians, regardless of racial and religious background can benefit from leaders who has Mature Caring Attitude. When time comes to exercise our democratic rights hopefully the quality of leadership available for Malaysians May Change Altogether.

Pendaftaran pengundi cetuskan perbalahan

Ulasan foto

Najib's era - Re-emergence of Mahatirism or Pak Lah-ism?
Barely a week after Najib's rousing "1 Malaysia, People First, Performance Now", we have his uncontested deputy giving a brilliant interview with Mingguan Malaysia.
Calling Chinese ungrateful is uncalled for. The Wakil Rakyat assuming the Education Minister post should bear in mind that his official perks come from tax payers' money and he has a fiduciary duty to administer and allocate the money well for the benefit of ALL Malaysians. There is no "budi" involved as the money did not come from his own kocek. It is a job, a noble one. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen (and leave the cookie jar too).
Some people wonder if with Najib, Mahathirism would re-emerge but we are starting off this era with Pak Lah-ism - the top man says nice things while the subordinates run around voicing otherwise. Najib would do well to ensure consistency throught out his team.
Please-lah, DPM, Malay voters like humble politicans, so do Chinese. In order to win back their support, sit down and find out. They are a sensible lot and quite clear with what they want.
Ong Tee Keat is fine with that interview however, I was told.
Now I know my roots, thanks Zahid!
According to Zahid, sexy women dancing and singing the latest hottest numbers are part of Chinese culture. Sorry mate, that's global entertainment trend.
I have nothing against the 3 babes, in fact, I like'em. However, calling them Chinese culture is an insult to Chinese culture. Chinese culture include, amongst other things, lantern festival, hungry ghost festival etc.
I suppose there is a belief that Chinese can trade a few STPM top scorers being rejected to enroll in their preferred choices in local universities or denied scholarships for a nice meal & a few dancing girls.
Up to the Chinese to articulate their view point then. Anyway, I won't bother to scream until I foam to defend my culture and race and religion to death. I am off to see some nice Ah-Mei music video now.
What's the big deal about Negarakuku
I had almost forgotten about this guy Namewee who spawned some controversy with his home-cooked rap version of our national anthem uploaded to You Tube on July 15 2007. This video was a runaway hit, grabbing over 100, 000 views in a short time- sparked some uproar with the Malaysian public and authorities; and had several MCA personalities defending Wee. I still remember catching over the news Namewee with Chua Soi Lek in the latter's office over this issue. Chua was the Health Minister then, whom ironically in the later part of 2007 had his blackmail-video thingy hitting the JB streets and You Tube as well. I never did really catch Namewee's video, subject matter of the controversy, until he appeared again in The Star on the same issue again. I thought the police was over-reacting- this time around he's being investigated under the Sedition Act, prompting me to check out his Negarakuku video. Look at this no-brainer interview here:
The Negarakuku postings in You Tube also sparked off ugly racist comments - I found one video posting accompanied by 25,000 ugly comments traded between You Tube fans. The video does have intentional racist and blesphemous undertones, but the rap is a refreshing departure from the serious pre-1992 Wah Idris-reengineered version of Negaraku. The review is here, in this wiki. I came across versions of 'Mamula Moon' (Felix Mendelssohn and his Hawaiian Serenaders) and 'Terang Bulan', the local cover version, which the Negaraku is based on. Read the 'Terang Bulan' story here. My favorite 'Terang Bulan' (Rudy Van Dalm) version is here, dedicated to all bloggers fighting for a true and just cause. Strangely, the lyrics to this song, if you catch them, does reflect our political scene.
All the thorns in the meat
That is literally translated from 'Duri dalam daging'.
It seems Tun Musa Hitam commented that Dr M's resignation from UMNO is a thorn removed from their midst. The lashback from Dr M is that TMH himself used to be a thorn that needed to be removed during the 80's. Well to me, there seems to be more thorns in UMNO and their BN components that are still acting like thorns do; being a stick in the ass pain to citizens!
Let's first talk about the age-old thorn that will not be removed, Sammy. Not only is he thick-faced enough to stay on as MIC president, but he is also now doing a 180 degrees turn, and trying oh! so hard to help the Indian community since he's no longer road works minister and doesn't have to deal with trying to con the cheapest price out of sub-contractors while pocketing a good fortune from the excess left. Yeah Sammy, I still remember your shoddy work on the MRR2 highway!
Next would be the Chinaman stalwart Ong, the chief Ong that is. I know its confusing, so many Ongs in the MCA party a bit hard to know which one I'm referring to-lah! Ong also seems to have a lot of free time nowadays, no longer building low-cost houses that never seem to materialize and also collecting lots of "Ong"(hokkien translation) into his pockets at the same time. Now he spends his free time trying to get in the main stream media by making stupid remarks, also doing a 180 degree turn, complaining that the Chinese people are duped into voting for DAP and PAS will form a religious state. Now he talks about fighting for Chinese people.
I hate calling them dogs, as everyone else does. Hello! Dogs are loyal and faithful. Also a dog doesn't bite the hand that's been feeding you for the past 50 years. I call them 'janus-faced'.
Two faces, one looking on the inside and one more looking on the outside. The face looking inside the BN component is ever-faithful as long as benefits are thrown their way. The face looking outside is one that claims to protect their own 'race'.
None of these thorns are removed. In fact, compared to thorns such as his Deputy and SIL, Badawi is really just like a blade of grass, it tickles you but it doesn't hurt you much.
And what is the worse thing about removing thorns? Especially so many of them? It will definitely hurt, but think of the relief after the healing process. I hope Pakatan Rakyat will be able to be the balm that soothes when the thorns are removed.

Storm brewing in MCA
Chua Soi Lek's frank opinion on leadership, party and movies...
If you have read the news you would know what I mean. Spy squad in MCA targeting MCA internal factions? Does it mean most of the personalities in MCA has a 'movie' (unknowingly at the time of making) made, awaiting release?
